Deleting An Audio List

To remove an existing audio list from your NewsRoom 5 system, first open the NfsAdmin program. Expand "Sites" from the left hand tree and select your sites server. Now expand your server and click on the "Playlists" to display all available audio lists in the right hand preview panel as seen below. We will be removing the playlist named "Stingers".

First, let's click on our server name (see below) and right click on the "Playlists" alias. Choose "Edit Alias" to launch the alias config dialog.

With the alias config dialog open, click the browse button (3 dots) to see all current audio lists.

Click to highlight the "Stingers" play list. Now click "Remove" and "Done" to delete the play list.

With the sites still expanded, click on the server's play lists to once again see all of the available play lists. As we see below, the "Stingers" play list is now gone.

Finally, as with any and all changes, or edits to the system from the server-side (back-end) we will perform a "Service Load" to finalize the operation.

The service load is now done, and the server has updated the changes made to the NewsRoom 5 system.

Log into the NewsRoom 5 client and launch the "Audio List" tool to see the changes. The deletion was successful.
