Troubleshooting Windows 10 Install Issues
Description - This document describes how to troubleshoot Windows 10 issues.

Audience: 
Some users have reported issues running KLZ NewsRoom on a new windows 10 laptop. The problem has been reported on both "Home" and "Pro" versions of Windows 10. Our investigation thus far would indicate that Windows or an anti-virus is preventing the program from running.

Other Things to Check:
1. Update Windows to the Latest version and install any required updates.
- Exact version of windows is important
2. Temporarily disable the anti-virus.
3. Disable startup programs.

4. Check program compatibility in Windows Explorer.
5. Re-install the program as administrator.
6. Scan the file with Window defender from Windows File Explorer. Check the Windows defender list of quarantined files. Check the Windows Defender in event log.
7. Turn on Security Logging.
Afterwards look in event viewer for security issues related to the application.
8. Run the Windows Troubleshooter.
