NewsRoom 45 Archive Server
The NewsRoom 45 Archive Server provides archive services for the NewsRoom 45 system. Content from casts, item stores, and audio lists are replicated to a user accessible database accessible as a folder in the my-sites tool of NewsRoom. Content can be drawn by users from the archive folders and re-purposed at a later date. Audio embedded in documents is replicated during the archive process allowing for both text and audio to be retrieved. The management provided by the archive server allow for better maintenance of production data storage. Content no longer relevant can be archived leaving the system with fewer files and avoiding storage limit issues.
