Xml Capture - CBS Downloader

All three files must sit in the same folder on your capture computer. Make a shortcut to the IRNftptowire, you can rename it to CBSftptoWire, so you can track it better. It would be a good idea to take the old shortcut to your CBS AudioCapture out of the Start Up directory, so it does not start up when the computer logs in. Place a new shortcut to the CBS capture there.
Just a note so you can prepare your CBS down loaders Options. Please set your CBS Billboard Output to the values below. Save your options at the bottom ,and let it capture the feeds.
These options will allow the new capture program to see the text XML files, and Mp3's as separate files. Both will get filed to the CBS wire with the audio attached as a yellow ActiveX, that the news people can play, insert into a Cast, or just edit the text or audio. The raw audio cuts will live in your current CBS audio feed list. The current directory you download the CBS Mp3's to is fine.
IrnFtpToWire - CBSFtpToWire
In order to get this to you in a timely fashion, we have modified a current XMLCapture called IrnFtpToWire, and will release it to you with the same name, IrnFtpToWire.
Below is a screen shot of the IrnFtpToWires Options. This program can download from an FTP site, or from a directory with an XML style sheet. We have made an XML style sheet, and will have the IrnFtpToWire look in the folder where you have the CBS MP3s downloaded to. Set the IRN file path to where the CBS Mp3's are.
Set your Wire Store Address to the NewsRoom server IP, or server name. Set the Sample Rate to your station's NewsRoom sample rate. Aim the audio list to your CBS Feed .nal located in server NewsRoom40\Audio\FeedNal\CBS.nal
Select the Auto Start, click the Done button, and it will begin to file the text with the audio embedded into your Newsrooms CBS wire. (the audio will live in the feed list/CBS) If your station also has NewsRooom Remote Reporter, and you want the cuts in the feed list playable from the outside, fill in your Http:// Download URL to the correct outside IP. (same as remote reporter) The users can also access this in your CBS wire.
