a workstation
to test
- From the workstation, navigate to the system share through windows file explorer.
- Open the NewsRoom5 directory and go into the Bin folder. Once inside of Bin, open the _dynupdate folder.
- Inside of _dynupdate, double click the NewsRoom5.msi.
- You should be prompted by windows for admin credentials to continue the installation.
- Enter admin credentials, and click the "Remember My Credentials" box.
- Running the .Msi, enter your site name (Call Sign) and click 'next' to continue & finalize the install.
- Double click the NewsRoom 5 desktop shortcut
- Enter server name, or IP address, along with user & password in the appropriate fields and click OK.
- NewsRoom 5 will launch and the ticker will welcome you to the program.
