Initial Configuration (First Run)
When the program first launches, and detects it has never been configured to run NewsRoom before, it offers to create a default installation for you. Say yes to this prompt. Manual configuration is beyond the scope of this document.

You will then be prompted for a few pieces of information, such as the NewsRoom 'Site Name' (usually a call sign owned by the radio group that represents the primary news station in the facility).

Followed by a prompt for the system installation path which will be filled in by the system. Accept the default value provided

You will then be prompted for regional information, and language preference for your site.

At this point, most of the settings required to run NewsRoom 4.5 have been given an initial setting.
