NfsAdmin Overview
The NfsAdmin program consists of a main form, a toolbar, and a menu system providing access to the system configuration and administrative functions.

The Toolbar has six buttons available for accessing common functions
2 The buttons perform the following actions in order:
- Service load
- Stop service - Stops and starts the NetFileShare service
- Wire Store - Stops and starts the WireStore service
- Cast Server - Stops and starts the NewsRoom cast server
- Aliases - Configure Storage
- Accounts - User administration
The Menus
The NfsAdmin program main menu contains six primary menus:
- File - Provides a program exit point.
- Server - Basic NetFileShare user and connection options.
- NewsRoom - Specific configuration of NewsRoom databases and services.
- Tools - Administrator utilities functions.
- Options - Additional system options.
- Help - Links to documentation and support services.
Server Menu
The server menu provides basic configuration of the "NetFileShare.exe" server.
The configuration sub-menus are:
- Connection Options
- Accounts
- Aliases
- Ip Filter
- Address Forwarding
- Guardian Config
- Locale
- Advanced
NewsRoom Menu
Storage configuration for NewsRoom 45 databases is provided from the NewsRoom menu of the NfsAdmin program. These options allow for the configuration of the back end database.

- Wires
- Audio Lists
- Item Stores
- Contacts
- Firebird
- Casts
- Faxes
- Automation
- Default Paths
- Property Pages - Advanced
Tools Menu
The Tools sub-menus are:
- Config backup/restore - Backup and Restore the configuration.
- Config import/export - Load a configuration from disk.
- Service load
- View Licensing - Display licensing information.
- External tools - Links to commonly used external tools.
- Legacy tools - The NewsRoom 40 config client. Still used for advanced configuration.
- Install/UnInstall services
- NfsAdmin - Start/Stop NewsRoom services
- System Paths - Windows file explorer links to commonly used paths.
- Network Share - Add or remove the NewsRoom network share.
- Import License
- Auto Updates
- Support Site - Send system debug information to the vendors site
- Debug - Run the NetFileShare service in debug mode ( Inside the NfsAdmin.exe program )
