Account Manager
The "Accounts" dialog provides management of users, and groups for the NewsRoom service. The accounts dialog can be launched from the main menu under "Server", or from the "Accounts" button of the toolbar. The user manager provides a unified interface to all user, and group related settings in NewsRoom 45.

The User Manager
Creating a default user profile
A default user profile is configured to pre-define basic attributes for different user types. Normally at least one default user profile is configured for a regular news user. Select the last button on the account manager toolbar in order to open the user profile dialog, as seen below.
The default user settings dialog contains default group, and cast user permissions. Once a profile has been configured it may be used whenever creating a user needing requiring these defaults settings.
Create New User Dialog
Now with a default user profile defined, we can continue with adding a user to the system. Fill in the required fields, including the default profile value defined in the preceding step. A password generation feature is included should you wish the system to generate a random password for you.
Group Configuration
When the system is installed, the default groups will be installed. For advanced group security settings contact KLZ support for assistance.
