Antivirus Path Exclusions
Here are the folders where NewsRoom 45 is installed and needs full access to:
Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2000 Server, XP Pro , 2000 Pro Paths
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NewsRoom4\ - Users need write access here - contains audio editor and multi track saved folders, a set for each user that uses the program on the computer.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NewsRoom4\Users\len\Audio Editor = Subfolders for each instance of a recording.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NewsRoom4\System\Audio = Contains Local Playlist index and wave files.
C:\Program Files\KLZ Innovations Ltd\NewsRoom 4.5 = Folder for NewsRoom45.exe and local settings.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\KLZ Innovations Ltd\Bin = KLZ Audio codecs and Activex .
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temp\Nr4Remotre3.sites
C:\Documents and Settings\All users\NewsRoom4\System\Settings = NewsRoom45 server configuration, databases and 45 License are found in this folder

Antivirus: Exclude scanning wave and Mp3 files , incoming and outgoing.
Ports
Allow access in the Windows Firewall / Advanced Inbound and Outbound Rules
Port 87 is the main port of the NetFileShare service. The messaging for NewsRoom is on port 5510 . Remote 45 uses port 87 but access must be cleared from the outside firewall.
